Urban beach next to the boardwalk. It is in the centre of the city, open to the south, and between the Sailing Club and the Promontory of La Aguilica. As it was regenerated a few years ago, today it is one of the best beaches. It is full of grey sand, with a peaceful way in to the beach and sandy bottom (except for the short stretch of the mouth of Rambla de "Las Culebras"). This beach occupies almost everything in Bahía de Levante, considered as one of the most beautiful beaches of Mediterranean. It houses the Fishing Port and the Marina. The beach and Marina have blue flag since 1992. The beach counts with an area for beach sports.
