The Mirador del Galúa / Plaza del Mar, is a new public space inaugurated in the summer of 2020 that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and from where you have a magnificent panoramic view of La Manga.

It is distributed in viewpoints and pedestrian paths by the sea, with a grandstand with wooden benches and natural stone stairs, shaded areas, green spaces with pergolas, trees and vegetable islands, in addition the accesses to the viewpoints and the beach are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

In this space, tribute will also be paid to the pilots of the General Air Academy who died in 2019, when they were carrying out practice and training flights over the waters of La Manga.
