Mirador de la Cruz Trail

The trail ascends the historic path of the Hoya de Pino, starting at the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Oro, where the Patron Saint of Abarán resides, and concludes at the viewpoint of La Cruz, located at the highest point of the Cabezo del Mortero. You can contemplate an impressive cultural landscape of the Ricote Valley, and along the course of the path of about 3 km you will see different Mediterranean plant species, Aleppo Pine and abandoned arid crops, as well as different species of birds of prey, as it is located in an area ZEPA (Special Protection Area for Birds).
