Information
This bridge, also known as the Barrio Bridge because it joins the San Cristóbal neighborhood with the city, was designed by engineer Juan Moreno Rocafull and was inaugurated in April 1879.
It is a work of great, precision, monumentality and solidity resisting two terrible floods: Santa Teresa and October 1973.
It consists of three major central arches and other smaller lateral ones, with a lowered vault that accentuates the horizontality, according to the model of the French engineer Perronet.
