This ceramic mural completes the set of works that decorate the “Island of the Arts”.
With this work, Nicolás de Maya aims to establish a dialogue with the public that walks around this space. The mural reflects the transformation suffered by Torre Pacheco in recent years.
The city has been a meeting point, a point of transformation, of confluences of roads and paths. This creates a relationship that transcends generational, cultural, and ethnic boundaries.
The location of the mural is not random, being the service stations a meeting point, a crossroads, a
confluence. All the origins converge at this point, being the common reference in their paths.
