Information
Built during the 18th century and renovated in the 19th and 20th centuries, The original plan was to build a church of cathedral proportions, the natural successor to Santa María la Vieja. The most architecturally significant sculptures inside are the medieval image of the Virgin of the Rosell (former patron saint of the city) and the figures of the Four Saints, the work of Salzillo. The Holy Week processions have begun from this building ever since its construction in the 18th century.
