How to Get Here

Select the method of transport by which you plan to travel to the Holy City.

At first Caravaca de la Cruz might seem a small municipality, but this is far from the truth: with over 26,000 inhabitants it is considerably more important than many nearby municipalities in Granada, Jaén and Albacete, and it is well connected with Murcia, Andalucía and the centre of Spain.

If air travel is required there are two options: either the airport of San Javier, which has no direct bus connection, or the airport of Alicante-Elche, from where there are bus services direct to the city of Murcia. From Murcia, simply buy a ticket to Caravaca.

Reaching Caravaca by train is rather more complicated, as there is no railway station. The best option is to get as far as the stations of Calasparra, Lorca or Murcia, and then complete the journey by bus or car.
