Along his or her route the pilgrim will find all kinds of places to rest, bars in which to eat, and opportunities to indulge in leisure activities. For this reason it's important to know which establishments along the route have done their bit to make the journey easier for all those heading for Caravaca.
These establishments are inscribed on a special register, and are entitled to display proof of their affiliation on their doors after meeting specific requirements. When you see this sign displayed you know that you will be offered special services, and you will also be supplied with customer satisfaction forms to evaluate the service given. If you show your Credencial, or Pilgrim's Passport, they can stamp it for you as proof of your progress along the Camino.
In addition, if you capture the QR code shown on the door of the establishment with your mobile phone, you can access more information about the business and see what services it offers. This option also enables you to complete the customer satisfaction survey.
