MoCHA Island, 2010
MoCHA Island, 2010 - The project analyses the idea of endlessly and painstakingly compiling an archive. The installation is based on the dialogue between a new archive and the existing MoCHA archives (Museum of Contemporary Hispanic Art), an art institution which closed its doors in 1990. Such dialogue will deal with Hispanic art during the 1980s, when the MoCHA was created, and look at how the term "Hispanic art" is understood nowadays.
Exhibition dates: October 9 - 17, 2010
