A stroll from the port to the Estacio bridge/canal which enables boat traffic between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor. We will keep walking to get to the lighthouse where you can learn about its history throughout time. We can see the cistern that supplied water to the lighthouse keepers and their families. Back at the port we will stop to behold the house of the ¿father¿ _of La Manga, Tomas Maestre, as well as the opening of the Estacio bridge/canal. Once the tour has finished you can enjoy the local gastronomy at the different venues in and around the port.
*** The Tour will go on if we reach a minimum of 10 participants. It can be cancelled due to bad weather.

MEETING POINT : The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. in La Manga del Mar Menor. Under the arches at the ¿Tomas Maestre¿ Port entrance (Sports Marina)
OTHER EVENTS: Weekly market every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. Come and enjoy the whole weekend under the sunshine in La Manga del Mar Menor, San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera!
TOUR DURATION: 2 hours. It is a walking tour, 5 km round trip, so comfortable shoes are strongly recommended
