It has a modernist design and is in keeping with the surrounding buildable area. The building has four interconnected rooms and all of them on the outside have transparent glass so that the visitor does not forget that they are in a typical natural area of ¿¿the Ricote Valley. Apart from the archaeological and historical remains of Archena that will be permanently preserved, the museum also houses a temporary exhibition hall to showcase other historical riches of the area. The property is located in the middle of a very emblematic and well-known natural area of ¿¿Archena, on the banks of the Segura River and near Mount Tío Pío, popular for its archaeological wealth. The museum houses archaeological pieces and works of great historical content found in this municipality and distributed among various museums in Spain and among many individuals in the city. There are many cultures and civilizations that, throughout history, have left their mark on our municipality. The relief of the municipality in the Ricote Valley, next to the Segura River pass and the good climate, have turned it into one of the most fertile orchards in the Region. This is why, from prehistoric times to the present day, various peoples have settled in our lands, the Archena Museum being the one that has collected important samples of this: archaeological remains, unique pieces, testimonies, anecdotes, etc., which They show the visitor the true history of the Villa Termal de Archena and configure it as one of the most evocative and spectacular landscape complexes in the Region of Murcia. Hours: Monday to Friday: from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Es un edificio de diseño modernista, construido en el emblemático paraje natural de la ribera del río Segura, desde donde se puede disfrutar de las increíbles vistas de "Cabecico del Tío Pío", lugar de importantes restos arqueológicos, y del magnífico entorno natural que le rodea.
El Museo de Archena se presenta como un espacio dinámico, distribuido en cuatro salas, en el que se exponen multitud de restos arqueológicos y documentación de gran contenido histórico, que narra el pasado de este municipio y de su Villa Termal .
